It's time for another monthly challenge at Scrapping4funChallenges. 

In August 2024 we have Challenge 238 Anything Goes.

To create this mixed media project for you, I started by cutting some strips of design paper. I inked the stripes and adhered them diagonally to the cardstock. Then I started rummaging through my box with leftover design paper and took some out and also grabbed some book paper. I used circle dies to punch out some circles from these scraps and the book paper. I spread these across the page and also glued some of them on top of each other on my workpiece.. I also pasted a text and a few die cuts. To make everything stand out better, I bordered the circles and the text with a Posca pen and also added a doodle border. I pasted the creation in my Art Journal.

What did I use:

- Ecru cardstock

- Leftover design paper

- Book paper

- Izink Dye Ink -Mer du Sud-

Hallo blogvrienden

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie een kaartje waarop ik met wax (op wit papier) heb gewerkt. Wax gebruik ik bijna nooit, hoewel het wel een leuk effect geeft. Overigens vind ik het wel mooier als de wax op donker papier wordt aangebracht. 

Wat heb ik gebruikt:

- Wit cardstock

- Designpapier English Garden van Studiolight PPEG136

- Patronen karton Design Blok 4 van Studiolight

- Stans Silver Selection Marianne design Craftables CR1301

- Gilding wax King gold

- Nuvo Crystal drops Carnation pink 666N

Cadeau-envelop met kaart

Goedemorgen allemaal

Vandaag heb ik voor jullie een cadeau-envelop met kaartje. 

Voor de envelop heb ik een DDBD-patroon gebruikt. Omdat het altijd lastig is om voor mannen iets te maken, heb ik voor de buitenkant van de envelop wat donkerder designpapier gebruikt. Op de binnenkant van de envelop heb ik lichter bijpassend designpapier gebruikt. Deze kleur heb ik terug laten komen op het bijbehorende kaartje. Verder heb ik een blad uit het donkere designpapier geknipt en op het kaartje geplakt, zodat het een mooi geheel is.

- Designpapier incl. bloemblaadje: Studiolight, Back to Nature ABM-BTN-PP28

Geboortekaart meisje

Hallo bloggers

Omdat mijn neef in oktober een baby krijgt en ik door mijn voorraad geboorte-kaartjes heen ben, heb ik een geboortekaartje voor een meisje gemaakt. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik een wolkje geplakt waarin de naam van de baby moet komen.

Natuurlijk ga ik ook nog een geboortekaartje voor een jongen maken, maar ik heb nog even de tijd.

Shipwrecked

Good morning blogging friends

Today a new challenge has started at Star Stampz Challenge Blog. This challenge has Challenge 60 - In or beside the sea as its theme. 

I used Shipwrecked from Star Stampz shop Etsy and I colored the image with TRI-BLEND Spectrum noir markers.

What did I use:

- Sand-colored linen cardstock

- Sand-colored cardstock with bubbles

- White HEMA card to print on

Hi everybody 

Our new challenge #57 Anything Christmas Goes, has begun over at the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project with you.

I hope you will come play along with the Christmas Challenge. It will run for six weeks, ending at 4.00 pm Mountain Time on the 15th of next month.

On Mother's Day I received this die to make depth cards. I think it is a very nice die with which I have already made a few cards. This die can be used in several ways and in fact it is also a simple way of making cards. 

What did I use:

- Red, green and white cardstock

- Picture of a group on Facebook where we (the members) can use the pictures to make cards (The pictures may not be sold)
